Triple-Lip Seals (suffix code: L3)

The L3 seals have a triple-layered design of the bearing seal lips to effectively prevent foreign matter from entering the bearing from the outside.

Units with covers

Units with covers are available in two types, steel cover and cast iron cover, open type and closed type, respectively, and can be selected according to the application.

By installing a cover, the bearing is protected from foreign substances from outside and from shocks. The closed type can also be used as a safety cover for the shaft end.

Backside Guard

Backside Guard prevents foreign objects from entering the flange type units from the back side (mounting surface).

Regarding the features of the Backside Guard

Depending on the application, a combination of these can be used to further improve the dust prevention effect.
