- 1946
- Established “Kobayashi Ironworks”
- 1950
- Renamed to “Kobayashi Seiko Co., Ltd”
Began production of mounted ball bearing units, Pillow Block units
- 1953
- Began production and sales of Pillow Block units
- 1957
- Renamed to “NIPPON PILLOW BLOCK MFG. CO., LTD.”
- 1966
- Licensed as a factory allowed to display Japanese Industrial Standards, and certified as an export-contributing company by the Minister of International Trade and Industry
- 1967
- Established Mihara Factory (currently Head Office) at the current location
- 1969
- Separated the sales department
Established “NIPPON PILLOW BLOCK SALES CO., LTD.”
- 1982
- Established subsidiary “FYH BEARING UNITS USA, INC.” in the United States
- 1983
- Started R&D of ceramic ball bearings
Formed a business alliance with “Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd.” (currently the JTEKT Corporation) for the manufacture and sale of mounted ball bearing units
- 1988
- Wakayama factory is built, and operation started
- 1992
- Established a local subsidiary of “QINHUANGDAO NPB BEARINGS CO., LTD.” in China
- 1993
- The factory of “QINHUANGDAO NPB BEARINGS CO., LTD.” began operation and Started manufacturing housings for mounted bearing units
- 2000
- “NIPPON PILLOW BLOCK MFG. CO., LTD.”(Current company) obtained ISO9002 certification
- 2001
- Began manufacturing bearings for mounted bearing units at “QINHUANGDAO NPB BEARINGS CO., LTD.”
- 2003
- Obtained ISO 9001 certification
- 2004
- The “NIPPON PILLOW BLOCK SALES CO., LTD.” and “NIPPON PILLOW BLOCK MFG. CO., LTD.” merge to form “NIPPON PILLOW BLOCK CO., LTD.”
- 2005
- Moved the head office to the Mihara-ku, Sakai City (current location)
- 2009
- Obtained ISO 14001 certification (Head Office and Wakayama factory)
- 2010
- “QINHUANGDAO NPB BEARINGS CO., LTD.” obtained ISO 9001 certification
- 2012
- Began manufacturing spherical roller bearing units in addition to conventional mounted ball bearing units
- 2015
- Established a new production base of “QINHUANGDAO NPB BEARINGS CO., LTD.”
The facilities at the Wakayama factory were transferred to the new factory
- 2017
- Renamed to “FYH INC.”
